Having been responsible for killing many cane toads in the past (along with most people in Queensland) because of the threat they pose to our native wildlife. I can't do it anymore. They are really not the menace they were made out to be and, as you can see, quite beautiful.
The best way to flush out cane toads is to start the motor mower. They are understandably terrified of this, which I think must point to some kind of racial memory. They certainly didn't learn it in Cane Toad School!!
